FAQ
Have Any Questions?
Can anyone experience Theta Brain Waves?
Yes. Theta brain waves are a naturally occurring process that we experience every day. The difference between experiencing it naturally and experiencing it during a recording or a session is your conscious awareness that you are entering a relaxed state.
Is it dangerous?
No. You are always in complete control of your body and mind and you can return to full awareness whenever you’d like. You can not be forced to behave in a way that opposes your morals, nor can you be forced to believe something that doesn’t align with your pre-existing beliefs.
What are the success rates of Hypnosis?
According to research studies, Hypnosis has a 93% success rate with fewer sessions than both behavioural and psychotherapy.
What does it feel like?
To achieve a state of Theta Brain Waves, you will be guided to experience total physical and mental relaxation. Clients often describe their experience as feeling ’calm, tranquil, relaxed, happy, peaceful’.
Do you lose control of your body/mind?
No. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. Focused relaxation is a means of enhancing body-mind control. You will find that you have more control over your thoughts and an increased awareness of yourself.
How does it work?
Decrease in activity in the Dorsal Anterior Cingulate – part of the brain’s salience network. This allows you to be absorbed in the moment and not worry about anything else.
Increase in connections between the Dorsolateral Prefrontal Cortex and the Insula. This is a brain-body connection that helps the brain process and control what is happening in the body.
Reduced connections between the Dorsolateral Prefrontal Cortex with the Medial Prefrontal and Posterior Cingulate Cortex. This creates a dissociation between action and reflection. Allowing you to easily engage in suggested activities without being self-conscious about the activity.
